Waikato Rivertones Chorus have won the 2019 Sweet Adelines New Zealand competition and we are honoured to represent New Zealand in Louisville Kentucky, USA in 2020! 

Ever wondered what it would be like to sing with us? Come and find out at our Open Night!   

Join us for our Open Night and enjoy five weeks of fun and learning for only $30 (over 50% off!).

• Take a night out for yourself and meet other like-minded women who love singing together. 
• Learn about singing: posture, breath management, phonation, resonation, articulation and more. 
• Sing in your preferred vocal range - high, medium or low.
• You don't need to be trained or able to read music - there are great learning tracks available.

About Waikato Rivertones Chorus

We are a part of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide organisation of women singers who meet regularly to rehearse, socialise, perform and sing a cappella music, barbershop style. 

It's a great way to enjoy camaraderie and friendship among an amazing group of women of all ages, from young women as young as 11 to retirees. We enjoy exploring a broad and varied repertoire that includes jazz, contemporary, pop and traditional barbershop. 

We are the current 2019 champion New Zealand chorus and have represented NZ on the International stage five times, most recently in Las Vegas in October 2017. We will be representing New Zealand again next year in Louisville Kentucky, USA. 

We are students, teachers, doctors, nurses, farmers, at-home mums, business professionals, retired women and just-starting-work women. We love singing together and look forward to meeting you!

• If you miss the first night, you are still able to attend from Monday, June 24th. 
• $30.00 payable by cash or internet banking and must be paid before starting the classes/rehearsals (June 24th)
